Our DNA tests do not have any age restrictions. They are suitable for newborns, children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. Since they are based on a non-invasive, painless cheek swab sample from the oral cavity, there is nothing to worry about. In our opinion, the earlier you know your genetic predispositions, the better.

No. Unfortunately, our DNA tests do not focus on analysing individual ancestry and origins. Our goal is to help people take steps that lead to better health and an improved lifestyle via DNA analysis. The analysis includes the results, but also recommendations and preventative steps that you can take to avoid potential problems in the future.

Your sample is sent anonymously — under your kit's unique ID code only — to a certified partner laboratory in Denmark. There, DNA is isolated and processed via genotyping, screening approximately 700,000 positions in your DNA. The resulting raw data is then processed using proprietary algorithms based on peer-reviewed research, in Slovakia, also in fully anonymous form.

Laboratory staff destroy the saliva sample within 90 days of completing the analysis. The raw data is also deleted from the laboratory's database within 90 days. Because the sample travels under an ID code only, lab technicians have no way of knowing whose sample they are analysing. Your personal data never leaves our company.

Each result includes a full scientific explanation and actionable prevention recommendations.

Yes! The kit is not tied to your name or email address, so you can give it to anyone — a partner, parent, sibling, or friend. The recipient registers the kit in the web app, collects their saliva sample, and sends it back according to the instructions. Simple.

Full return instructions are available in your customer account in the DNA ERA web app (accessible after scanning the QR code inside the box). Please follow only those instructions to ensure correct delivery.

The collection kit has an expiry date printed on the packaging — do not exceed it. A collected sample is stable for several months. You can order in advance, store the kit, or gift it, and the recipient can send the sample back at any convenient time before expiry.

Registration instructions are inside the DNA ERA web app after scanning the QR code in the box. Without registration, we cannot link the sample to any account and cannot deliver results. If this happens, contact us and we can send a replacement kit on request for a fee of €30.
